Hello all,

I’m Jean Waghetti, agilist and software developer based in Porto Alegre/RS, Brazil. By the way, you can call me Jiba.

Even having a degree in electrical engineering, I always worked with software development.

I started my carreer as an intern in 2010. With this professional experience, I recognize software development as one of my passions.

By 2015, I got another passion: agility. And it really drives the way I work and and also how I live

I’m really into software architecture and best practices. One of the principles behind the Manifesto for Agile Software development tells us “Attention to technical detail and design enhances agility”. Technical excellence is key for doing your job the right way.

Personally, I love bikes. Working from home, I miss riding the bike for commuting. I play bike polo - it’s like polo with horses, just changing horses for bikes.

I like fermenting stuff, but this hobby is somewhat dormant at the time.

Boardgames are nice. However, it is difficult to find people willing to play with you.
